Lindsay Graham laments…

On the courts decision to restore Habeas Corpus by saying;

The court gave al Qaeda members the same status as an American citizen. They said an al Qaeda member has a constitutional right to go to a federal court of their choosing and say, ‘Judge, let me go’. The Nazis never had that right…

I can’t believe we are going to allow unelected judges who are not trained in military matters to make major wartime policy decisions…

Mr Graham, citizens are not granted rights–humans are.   I beg of you, read your Constutition again

What problem does Mr Graham have with granting humans natural rights that have been granted to them for the last four hundred years?  I seem to remember that the Nazi’s were indeed brought on charges, although, not in American courts.  However this is all history and just because one group of persons were not granted the same rights we supposidly have here does not mean it’s right to remove any rights even further from another set of people.  Even as such, what Judge in their right mind would allow a suspected terroist go as Mr. Graham so suggests?  None.
